WHAT IS THE KINDNESS FOR CHRISTMAS EVENT?
Kindness for Christmas is a special family-centered event where local families come together to bless local foster children with gifts, cards, and encouragement.
Kindness for Christmas is more than an event—it’s an opportunity for families to serve together.
WHO IS THE EVENT BENEFITING?
Kerrington’s Kindness Shop has partnered with BCS Together to bless local children who have been placed in the foster care system.
BCS Together works tirelessly with children and foster families to ease the transition during and even after their CPS cases are closed. This event is providing Christmas gifts for these struggling families.
Your sponsorship helps underwrite the event—covering the cost of the venue, food, décor, gifts for the foster children, and thank-you bags for families who attend.
By sponsoring, you’re not only providing Christmas gifts—you’re also equipping families to experience the joy of serving together.
The more sponsorships we are able to secure, the more affordable we can make tickets for those attending.
This is a non-profit event—which means every dollar above the cost to host goes directly toward purchasing Christmas gifts for foster children through BCS Together.
Our goal this year is to provide at least 3 gifts each for 50 children—and with your help, we can bless even more!

Financial Need Breakdown For Event
Hosting The Event
Venue, food and treats for attendees and volunteers, room decor: linens, marquee letters, balloons and photo-ops, event t-shirts, gift wrap, bows, and gift tags
Estimating $4500
Blessing The Foster Kids
Estimating $150 per foster child to cover purchasing 3 gifts based on their wish list and clothing sizes. This covers our goal of blessing 50 foster children

Attendee Surprises!
Each ticket includes a take-home ornament with the name of the child you blessed—serving as a reminder to pray for them.
Every child attendee will also receive a thank-you goodie bag!
